Landscaping
Due to being smack dab in the middle of the busy season for gardeners, we are temporarily delaying bidding for the landscaping. One of the items we want to include with landscaping is the annual snow shoveling of the walkways on Penny Royal and Gage and in front of the Park. WE HAVE A NEW CONTRACTOR!!!
Fence along Penny Royal and Gage Blvd
We are assessing the specific needs of the fence.
We are responsible for Gage all the way down to Penny Royal – just to the right of the sign.
We are assuming that the fence is on our property, on our side of the line.
The poles have to be 2in away from your line.
Dale, Christie, Mark, and Habib will inspect the fence status.
For now, the idea is to paint the inside, the exterior looks ok. Painting is cheaper than repairing it.
For the future, replacing the fence is estimated at $20K divided by 69 houses - $50 per linear foot – stone wall. Another option (cheaper) is polyester, we won’t have to maintain it.
Trees
Trees were trimmed last year.
Leaves haven’t dropped yet, but we are looking into the leaf removal service as well.
Weather forecasting indicates this winter won't be as cold as last year and there won't be as much precipitation.
Snow removal
We have two more months to decide on a contractor.
Check if someone has the machinery (snow blower) that we can borrow, if needed before we get the service from a contractor.
Lights in the entrance sign
Scott and Corey will have someone assess the area and give a bid on two options.
Trim the hedge down.
Remove the hedges.
Light posts
Tim and Dale will check the two lights that are out in Penny Royal.
